Are books,
indicating the positions of the planets for
each day. E. g. The American Ephemeris for
the 20th Century (Noon Edition), which indicates
the positon of the planets once a day for
the whole 20th Century. |

Houses |
There are
twelwe astrological Houses. The Houses are
not existing in our material world. They are
a dividing of the heaven into twelwe equal
pie-shaped pieces with the basis from the
earth rotation round its axis and the four
quarters. |

Tables
of the Houses |
are existing
to a number of so-called house systems. E.
g. the AFA Tables of Houses for instance,
for the Placidus system. |

The
Ascendant |
is very
important for horoscopes; it is the point,
which rules personality. |

The
Descendant |
is the
opposite point from the Ascendant. The Descendant
explains which way to behave in close relationships. |

Horoscope
aspects |
There are
several aspects and they are indicating the
nature of the relationships between planets
and also the signification of traits for those
aspects. |

Conjunction |
There is
a Conjunction when two or more planets are
sitting next to each other. The Conjunction
is the strongest aspect. |
|
Semi-Sextile |
This aspect
creates unease; it is a less important aspect
than the Conjunction. It comes up when two
or more planets are about 30 degrees from
each other. |
|
Sextile |
The Sextile
contains two or more planets, which are about
60 degrees from each other. |
|
Square |
The Square
is one of the most important aspects, the
strongest after the Conjunction. The Square
is formed by two or more planets, which are
about 90 degrees from each other. |
|
Trine |
Planets,
which are about 120 degrees from each other,
forms a Trine; it is a harmonious aspect. |
|
Quincunx |
The planets
are in Quincunx when they are about 150 degrees
from each other. The Quincunx is a minor aspect
and it creates a certain uneasiness and a
feeling of discomfort. |

Opposition |
When the
planets are exactly opposite each other in
an angle of 180 degrees. The Opposition is
usually the strongest aspect right after the
Conjunction and the Square. |
